Job title: Sales/Sr. Sales Executive – Project Sales

Role summary: This is a frontline B2B project sales role in the Switches & Switchgear division, focused on residential and commercial projects. The candidate will influence specifications and purchase decisions by working with key influencers, including architects, consultants, and interior designers, while also managing channel partners, such as dealers and distributors. The role involves selling through dealers, distributors, contractors, as well as directly to customers.

Responsibilities: 

A. Project Sales - Identify and chase new project leads

• Get the brand specified in BOQs (Bill of Quantities)


• Drive conversion from specification → order

B. Stakeholder Management

• Influencers:




• Architects


• Electrical Consultants


• Interior Designers


• Builders / Developers


• Purchase Heads (Factories / Institutions) 




• Channel Partners:




• Dealers


• Distributors


• Retail outlets (in smaller towns) 




• On-ground Influencers:




• Electricians


• Contractors

C. Commercial & Market Role

• Negotiation & closures


• Revenue target achievement


• Market intelligence & competitor tracking


• Account handling (CPWD, MES, PWD, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 4+ years in sales and business development, preferably in the same industry.


• Strong connection with specifiers: Building and maintaining relationships with Architects/Consultants/contractors in the industry is essential for success in this role.


• Technical Training: Provide the sales team with the necessary technical training to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
