Sales Executives -TMT Steel Bars

Job Description

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a reputed contract manufacturer and  trader of TMT bars, for the position of Sales Executive — TMT Bars based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive B2B sales of TMT bars to builders, contractors, distributors, and ongoing project sites across Mumbai.


• Handle the complete sales cycle — prospecting, client meetings, negotiation, order closure, and payment collections.


• Build and nurture a strong distributor/retailer network to consistently meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.


• Track market trends, competitor pricing, and upcoming project pipelines; maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts.


• Liaise with supply chain and accounts teams to ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in TMT bars/long steel product sales, with an established Mumbai market network.


• Strong understanding of steel grades, diameters, pricing structures, and delivery logistics.


• Target-driven with excellent persuasive communication and relationship-management skills.

Education

Graduate (any stream); MBA/PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing preferred.

Headquartered in Guwahati, the company has now diversified into a new TMT Steel vertical, undertaking contract manufacturing and supplying steel against orders sourced from Mumbai. As part of this expansion, they are looking to build a strongchannel sales and project sales network in Mumbai and are hiring a Sales Executive to drive this growth for TMT Steel Bars.
