Job Description – Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result -oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand market presence across assigned territories. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, customer relationship management, techno -commercial discussions, tender participation, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong knowledge of industrial and construction equipment along with the ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales through customer visits, cold calling, and market development activities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct techno -commercial discussions and independently close orders.
  • Achieve annual sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identify new accounts, industries, and market segments for expansion.
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline and opportunity details in CRM/sales applications.
  • Ensure regular customer engagement and high customer satisfaction.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors, projects, and industry trends.
  • Participate in government tenders and prepare technical specifications.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage dealers and distributors.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of sales activities and collections.


Requirements

Requirements

Education

  • BE – Mechanical or any relevant Post Graduation.

Experience

  • 6–10 years of relevant sales experience in:
    • Truck Mounted Equipment
    • Heavy Commercial Vehicles
    • Earthmoving Equipment
    • Construction Equipment Industry

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent techno -commercial understanding.
  • Experience in tender participation and technical presentations.
  • Ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Fluency in local language(s) of assigned territory.
  • Self -motivated, target -driven, and proactive approach.
