This role focuses on driving new business growth and expanding market presence for advanced industrial automation solutions within the manufacturing and battery technology space. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients across the EU region, particularly within high-tech manufacturing environments. The position combines technical understanding with consultative sales execution, requiring the ability to translate complex engineering solutions into clear business value. You will actively build pipelines through outreach, relationship-building, and strategic account development. The environment is highly dynamic, international, and performance-driven, offering strong exposure to cutting-edge automation technologies. This role is ideal for a commercially minded engineering professional who enjoys travel, client interaction, and solution-oriented selling.
Accountabilities:
- Identify and engage qualified prospects to generate new business opportunities across targeted EU markets
- Conduct discovery meetings and present automation and intelligent logistics solutions to potential customers
- Develop and execute outreach strategies including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and in-person meetings
- Research target accounts and industries to build deep customer and market insights
- Nurture early-stage leads and maintain long-term engagement until they are sales-ready
- Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities
- Conduct client visits across the EU region to build relationships and support business development efforts
- Use technical visualization tools and product knowledge to communicate solution value effectively
- Design tailored, creative engagement strategies to capture attention and drive prospect conversion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- 2–4+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial, automation, or manufacturing sectors
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, ideally within battery or automotive industries
- Excellent communication skills in business English; German is a plus
- Proven ability to manage full outbound sales cycles from prospecting to discovery
- Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence and consultative selling approach
- Familiarity with challenger sales methodology (teach, tailor, take control)
- Ability to travel frequently across the EU region
- Comfortable engaging technical stakeholders and simplifying complex solutions
- Self-driven, curious, and highly motivated to work in a target-driven environment
- Strong writing and presentation skills across email, phone, and client interactions
