Job Description - Sales Manager / Director

Job Title: Sales Manager - 3D Vision, Automation, Robotics

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with specialized knowledge in 3D vision, automation, and robotics. The Sales Maager will lead our sales team, develop strategic sales plans, and drive revenue growth by leveraging their expertise in these innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling complex technical solutions to a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive market penetration in the 3D vision, automation, and robotics sectors.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize their performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine sales approaches accordingly.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business challenges and proposing tailored solutions to address their needs.
  • Product Expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding and knowledge of our product offerings in 3D vision, automation, and robotics, effectively articulating their value propositions to customers.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer experience.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular sales forecasts, and provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
  • Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness, expand networks, and drive lead generation activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in sales leadership roles within the technology industry, with a focus on 3D vision, automation, or robotics.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts related to 3D vision systems, automation technologies, and robotic solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
