Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Manager promoting and selling eBooks and Online publications of Taylor and Francis Group. This role will be responsible for sales across all Taylor & Francis eBooks and online referenceproducts.

This is an individual contributor role .

The key responsibilities are:

  • Approaching and promoting eBook and online sales models to institutional customers to maximize sales and grow customer account, increasing and sustaining sales revenue whilst maintaining profitability to maximize revenue
  • Implementing a strategy that identifies opportunity for growth in the territories and achieve volume year revenue targets, create liaisons with senior stake holders and influencers in government departments, state departments, counselor etc.
  • Building long-term relationship with a portfolio of existing customers, building a deep understanding of the customer’s market and specific needs to provide a tailored sale, develop and Build new Strategic service to drive the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Attending relevant conferences and events tobuild relationships and prospect for new customers
  • Successfully agreeing sales proposals and licenses in line with the global eBooks and Online strategy and policy
  • Produce regular reports on sales activity and development opportunities, effectively maintain and update the CRM system, Salesforce.com.
  • Travelling to potential sales opportunities in the respective region.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record of achieving targets who posses strong influencing and communication skills
  • Excellent communicationand negotiation skills
  • Ability to build long lasting relationships with existing and new customers, government departments, State Departments and Counsellors
  • Ideally someonewho has experience of dealing with institutional library client based in India
