Job Description - Sales Manager - Pre-treatment/Phosphating

Job Description

Responsibility: Business Development Manager - Phosphating, he/she is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the phosphating market segment. The primary goal is to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and strengthen our position in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in phosphating processes and a proven track record in business development.

Revenue Generation:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for the phosphating segment.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • New Customers:

  • Actively pursue and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other effective business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while consistently seeking opportunities to upsell phosphating services.
  • Proposal Development:

  • Prepare compelling and competitive commercial proposals for phosphating projects, highlighting the value proposition and unique selling points of our services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and detailed project specifications.
  • Business Strategy:

  • Implement the strategic business development plan for the phosphating segment, aligning with overall company objectives and as defined by the Phosphating Business Manager.
  • Identify key growth sectors and market segments to target for business expansion.
  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, production, quality assurance, and customer service, R&D to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns specific to the phosphating business.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Conduct post-project analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Industry: Speciality Chemicals , Pre-Treatment

    Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of phosphating processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for generating sales in a competitive environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
