Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in engaging with restaurant owners, demonstrating the value of our niche and sophisticated robotics products, and closing deals in the competitive culinary landscape. This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires finesse, persuasion, and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of the restaurant industry, identifying potential clients, and proactively reaching out to top-class restaurants, fine dining venues, food courts, and large cloud kitchen setups.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Alphadroid's robotics solutions, enabling you to confidently present and articulate the benefits to potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and key decision-makers, positioning Alphadroid as a trusted partner for automation solutions.
- Customised Solutions: Tailor robotics solutions to the unique needs and challenges of each restaurant, demonstrating the value of Alphadroid's products in improving efficiency and reducing labour costs.
- Lead Generation: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and expand the company's client base.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve targets, including prospecting, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Market Expansion: After establishing a strong foothold in India, work on expanding Alphadroid's presence in the UK market.
- Travel: Reimbursement for travel costs associated with client visits and industry events.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record with 3-5 years in business development, particularly in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey the advantages of robotics solutions to potential clients.
- Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a strong sales-oriented mindset.
- Self-driven and able to work independently, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel and attend events
- Knowledge of robotics, POS and automation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Good network within the restaurant industry
