Job Description - Sales Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales and business development activities for Japan region.
  • Assist in preparation of techno-commercial proposals and customer presentations.
  • Communicate with clients in Japanese (emails, calls, virtual meetings).
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and proposal teams for technical clarifications.
  • Conduct market research on hydrogen and renewable energy developments in Japan.
  • Maintain CRM records and track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Support in customer follow-ups and order closures.
  • Participate in exhibitions, webinars, and industry events (as required).

Education and Experience required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical).  
  • MBA in Sales and Marketing / International Business is preferred.
  • 0.6 –2 years of experience in sales, business development or techno-commercial role is desired.
  • Mandatory: Candidates who can speak Japanese language is desired.
  • Proof of Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or above preferred) is required.
  • Candidates must provide valid certification as evidence of Japanese language competency.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
