Salesforce Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst with 8–16 years of experience to bridge business requirements and Salesforce technology, helping organizations optimize their CRM processes and deliver scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, excellent business analysis capabilities, and hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, Salesforce administrators, developers, and QA teams to understand business objectives and translate them into clear Salesforce requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend Salesforce-based solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, and discussions with stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Create clear and detailed business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and solution documentation.
• Develop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and functional requirements that provide clear direction to development and QA teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage and prioritize requirements and ensure the product backlog remains aligned with business priorities.
• Use JIRA to track user stories, requirements, defects, sprint progress, and delivery status.
• Partner with Salesforce technical teams to validate proposed solutions and ensure they align with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
• Support functional testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production rollouts by clarifying requirements and validating delivered functionality.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and process impacts associated with Salesforce changes and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for business processes supported through Salesforce and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

• 8–16 years of experience in Business Analysis, Salesforce consulting, CRM transformation, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on functional knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proven experience in Business Analysis and Stakeholder Management.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with cross-functional Scrum teams.
• Practical experience using JIRA for backlog, requirements, sprint, and issue management.
• Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable requirements for Salesforce development teams.
• Strong understanding of CRM processes such as sales management, lead and opportunity management, customer service, case management, and service operations.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience creating detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong knowledge of Sprint Planning and Backlog Management.
• Experience with Stakeholder Management and Requirements Gathering across multiple business functions.
• Exposure to Salesforce implementation, enhancement, migration, integration, or transformation projects.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant will be an advantage.
• Experience working with distributed or global teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
