Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer MCP

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, maintain, and optimize the technical foundation of our marketing automation ecosystem.

The candidate will be responsible for Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, automation, integrations, personalization, and real-time customer engagement solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise in AMPScript, SQL, SSJS, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, APIs, and SFMC data architecture.

MCP is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions.
Develop advanced marketing automations using SQL, AMPScript, SSJS, and Automation Studio.
Build and manage REST/SOAP API integrations between SFMC and external platforms.
Design and implement customer journeys using Journey Builder.
Develop personalization solutions using AMPScript, Dynamic Content, and audience segmentation.
Configure and manage real-time/event-based triggers for customer communications.
Work with Data Extensions, Contact Builder, synchronized data sources, and relational data models.
Develop and maintain custom solutions such as CloudPages, custom preference centers, data extensions, and microservices integrations.
Troubleshoot SFMC platform, automation, integration, and data-related issues.
Optimize query performance, automations, data processing, and overall platform scalability.
Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, Data, and Integration teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Document architecture, data flows, integrations, technical processes, and development best practices.
Support SFMC releases, enhancements, production issues, and platform upgrades.
Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and MarTech innovations and recommend improvements.
Mandatory Technical Skills
4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Strong experience with:
Email Studio
Journey Builder
Automation Studio
Contact Builder
Data Extensions
Strong proficiency in AMPScript and SQL.
Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP API integrations.
Experience with real-time/event-triggered communications.
Strong understanding of SFMC data models, segmentation, relational data design, and audience management.
Experience with MCP – Mandatory.
Experience designing and troubleshooting complex marketing automations and integrations.
