OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Salesforce MuleSoft administrator and developer expertise plays a critical role in ensuring the stable, coordinated, and reliable delivery of Salesforce capabilities across all environments. This role is responsible for managing Salesforce deployments, coordinating releases, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to align platform changes with integration and business requirements.

Serving as a bridge between Salesforce administration, MuleSoft integrations, and operational governance, the role ensures deployments are thoroughly planned, integration dependencies are clearly understood, and system changes do not negatively impact upstream or downstream systems. The position also includes oversight and review of triggers, alerts, and automation to maintain platform performance, data integrity, and operational stability.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, solid technical awareness of integrations, and a governance‑focused mindset to support seamless releases, efficient troubleshooting, and consistent adherence to best practices across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications (Apex, LWC, Flows).
• Build, manage, and troubleshoot MuleSoft integrations across systems.
• Handle deployments using CI/CD pipelines, including Maven‑based processes.
• Monitor integration performance, DLQs, and data flows; provide operational support and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Data, Engineering) to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support release management, documentation, and best‑practice governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Salesforce development background (Apex, Visualforce, LWC, APIs).
• Hands‑on MuleSoft experience: building APIs, integrations, connectors, and flows.
• Experience with deployment tools (Maven, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines).
• Good understanding of integration patterns, error handling, and data transformations.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and support production environments.
• Preferably Salesforce + MuleSoft certifications

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Agent Force and Salesforce Developer
• Familiarity with Kafka or event‑driven architecture.
• Exposure to multi‑cloud or multi‑system integration setups.
