Job Description

Experience :  7+ years of strong relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ABAP Cloud solutions leveraging S/4 ABAP Cloud for WRICEF objects.
• Clean Core Backend Development with latest Syntax
• Integrates S/4HANA with external systems via APIs and events. (AEM)
• Builds in-app extensions using RAP and BAdIs.
• Works on forms, custom reports, enhancements, and CDS views.
• Participate in greenfield implementations, from requirement gathering through to go-live and support.
• Provide hands-on support for existing systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, fostering seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions in different time zones.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across back-end, and integration layers.
• Stay up to date with emerging SAP technologies and recommend best practices to the team.
• Deliver high-quality code and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Core ABAP: Proficient of ABAP language, including object-oriented concepts.
• ABAP Cloud & RAP: Experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), including behavior definitions and metadata extensions.
• Service and API Development: Ability to create and extend ABAP RESTful services and APIs for integration.
• SAP HANA: Skills in using Core Data Services (CDS views) and other HANA-specific features like AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Data Modeling: Understanding of data structures and how to model them, especially with CDS views.
• Integration: Hands-on experience of integrating with both SAP and non-SAP systems, including RESTful / SOAP APIs/OData.
• Modern UIs: Familiarity with building OData services for modern UIs like SAP Fiori.
• Version Control: Proficiency with modern version control systems, especially Git, and SAP's CTS+.
• Clean-Core Development: Adherence to principles that maintain the stability of SAP's core system and allow for smooth upgrades. 
• ADT tools: Eclipse or equivalent.
• Ensures compliance with SAP’s clean core guidelines.
• Proven experience as a ABAP Cloud Developer with hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP.
• Experience in greenfield implementations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
• Proficiency in modern development frameworks, tools, syntax and methodologies.
• Must be a strong team player.
• Must have a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to listen, understand and facilitate process improvements.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA application development using RAP model.
