SAP Basis Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 8+ years of hands -on expertise in SAP system administration, installation, upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and support. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge across SAP landscapes and be capable of managing complex SAP environments while ensuring system availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and refresh activities.
  
• Administer SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA systems.
  
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity planning.
  
• Manage SAP transport management system (TMS) and change control processes.
  
• Execute kernel upgrades, support package implementations, and system patching.
  
• Perform SAP HANA database administration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
  
• Troubleshoot SAP application, database, and infrastructure issues.
  
• Manage user administration, authorizations, and security -related activities.
  
• Support SAP cloud, hybrid, and on -premise environments.
  
• Coordinate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams for project delivery.
  
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain operational procedures.
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong hands -on experience in SAP Basis Administration.
  
• Expertise in SAP system installation, upgrades, migrations, and refreshes.
  
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Fiori, and SAP Solution Manager.
  
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Database Administration.
  
• Experience in performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  
• Knowledge of transport management and change management processes.
  
• Experience with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups.
  
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
  
• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• SAP Basis or SAP HANA Certification.
  
• Experience with SAP Cloud solutions and SAP BTP.
  
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python).
  
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  
• Exposure to SAP Landscape Management (LaMa).
