Primary Functions and Tasks:

The SAP BW Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Business Warehouse solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and corporate data strategy. The consultant will play a key role in:

• Gathering and analyzing reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders.


• Designing and developing data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions in SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA.


• Integrating data from SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) and non-SAP systems into BW.


• Supporting the migration of legacy BW solutions to BW/4HANA.


• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization.


• Collaborating with business users, functional teams, and IT colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions.


• Providing production support, issue resolution, and performance tuning.


• Documenting technical solutions and providing knowledge transfer to internal teams.

The role may also involve contributing to analytics strategies using modern SAP tools such as SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and integration with third-party platforms.

We are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.


• SAP certifications in BW/4HANA and SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud are a plus.
  
  


• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW (BW/4HANA and older BW).


• Proven track record in data modeling (InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views).


• Experience in ETL (DataSources, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains).


• Familiarity with front-end reporting tools (SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).


• Experience with SAP HANA views and SQL scripting is a plus


• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Good understanding of data warehouse concepts, BI architecture, and data governance.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented.


• Fluent in English (written and spoken). German language is a plus.
