SAP CAR UDF Consultant

• Role & Engagement: SAP CAR UDF Consultant


• 6–10 Years Experience 


• Primary Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in SAP Customer Activity Repository (SAP CAR), Unified Demand Forecasting (UDF), and POSDTA/POSDM.


• System Integration: Strong knowledge of SAP IS-Retail, S/4HANA, and data ingestion/harmonization using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services.


• Core Responsibilities:
  
  
  
  
  • Provide day-to-day RUN/AMS support, analyze root causes, and resolve production incidents within SLA guidelines.
  
  
  • Monitor and support demand forecasting, sales data processing, and end-to-end POS transaction flows.
  
  
  • Execute HANA-based data modeling, analytics, minor system configurations, and continuous improvement tasks.
  
  
  • Perform regular system monitoring, data validation, reconciliation, and documentation updates.
  
  
  • Collaborate effectively with global business users, functional teams, and technical stakeholders.
  
  
  
  


• Preferred Experience: 4+ years dedicated to SAP CAR implementation/support in the retail sector, with foundational knowledge of retail pricing, promotions, and inventory management.


• Soft Skills & Availability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, ability to work independently, and flexibility to work in shifts for critical operations.
