Role Overview:

We are hiring a SAP Data Governance – Functional Steward to ensure high-quality data management across SAP systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in SAP DG tools, data quality frameworks, and team leadership, while serving as a functional steward for enterprise master data.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Drive governance, data stewardship, and master data quality initiatives in SAP.

  
  


• 
  

  Define and enforce data standards, ownership models, and validation rules.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and functional teams to resolve data integrity issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Implement data lifecycle strategies using SAP MDG or equivalent governance tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead or mentor teams responsible for data cleansing, enrichment, and reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Support root cause analysis for data defects and drive continuous improvement.

  
  

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• 
  

  3 to 7+ years of experience in SAP Data Governance and Functional Stewardship.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of master data domains (customer, vendor, material, etc.).

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on with SAP MDG, data validation workflows, and functional integration.

  
  


• 
  

  Mandatory experience in leading teams and stakeholder coordination.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and documentation skills.
