SAP Data Migration Consultant

Looking for a skilled SAP Data Migration Consultant to join our expert team. In this role, you will oversee the entire data migration life cycle, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to SAP environments. You will work with clients to understand their data migration requirements, develop strategies for data cleansing, transformation, and validation, and implement best practices to facilitate a smooth transition.

Your attention to detail and understanding of data governance principles will be essential in maintaining the integrity and quality of data throughout the migration process, contributing to optimized business operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies and plans to facilitate the transfer of data into SAP environments.
• Analyze existing data models, perform data profiling, and identify data quality issues that need to be addressed prior to migration.
• Utilize SAP data migration tools, such as SAP Data Services and LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench), to execute data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity between legacy systems and SAP applications.
• Conduct testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide training and support to client teams on data governance and management practices post-migration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP data migration projects, with strong expertise in data extraction and transformation processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services, LSMW, and other related data migration tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of data governance principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
