About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP EWM Technical Developer to design, build, and optimize advanced Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions. In this role, you will work closely with functional teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations, ensuring seamless warehouse operations and high-performing system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Enhancement

• 
  

  Custom Objects: Design, develop, and enhance core EWM technical objects, including RF (Radio Frequency) screens, IDocs, BAdIs, user exits, and custom interfaces.

  
  


• 
  

  Warehouse Processes: Provide technical support and custom enhancements for key warehouse workflows: Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Inventory Management.

  
  

Integration & Architecture

• 
  

  System Connectivity: Build and maintain seamless integrations between SAP EWM and ECC or S/4HANA using qRFC, Web Services, and APIs.

  
  


• 
  

  Warehouse Objects: Leverage deep understanding of core warehouse objects such as Warehouse Tasks (WT), Warehouse Orders (WO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Goods Issue (GI).

  
  

Optimization & Support

• 
  

  Performance Tuning: Perform rigorous debugging, issue resolution, and performance optimization for custom EWM code and database queries.

  
  


• 
  

  Project Lifecycle: Participate actively in full-lifecycle EWM implementations, rollouts, or ongoing support projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with functional consultants and business analysts to translate functional specifications into clean, scalable technical solutions.

  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 
  

  Experience: 4 to 7 years of hands-on SAP EWM technical development experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Core ABAP: Strong background in ABAP, OO ABAP, and modern development paradigms including ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP (Managed Database Procedures).

  
  


• 
  

  EWM Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with the RF Framework, EWM Monitor enhancements, BAdIs, and enhancement spots.

  Integration Protocols: Demonstrated proficiency in building interfaces using qRFC, Web Services, and APIs.

  Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, strong debugging skills, and clear communication to collaborate effectively across global or cross-functional teams.
