Position Title: SAP FI/CO Senior Consultant
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven SAP FI/CO Senior Consultant to join our enterprise solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing finance business requirements, designing robust SAP solution architectures, configuring SAP FI/CO modules, and driving integrations across cross-functional enterprise processes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong domain knowledge in accounting and financial controls with deep technical expertise in SAP Financials, Controlling, In-House Cash (IHC), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and S/4HANA implementation methodologies.
Key Responsibilities

1. SAP FI/CO Solution Design & Configuration

• Translate complex finance and controlling business requirements into comprehensive SAP solution designs and functional specifications.


• Perform hands-on configuration of SAP FI and CO modules in the Implementation Guide (IMG) according to business needs.


• Implement and manage specialized treasury/cash functions, including:
  
  
  
  
  • In-House Cash (IHC) and related functional enhancements.
  
  
  • Bank Communication Management (BCM).
  
  
  • Standard Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) customization, including search strings and enhancements.
  
  
  
  


• Configure Accounts Payable (AP) workflow customizations and error-handling mechanisms.

2. Controlling, Product Costing & Material Ledger

• Manage core Controlling capabilities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost & Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).


• Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in Product Costing, Cost Component Splits, Material Ledger, and Controlling integration with Project Systems (PS).


• Support both Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) business scenarios.

3. Enterprise Integration & Technical Alignment

• Drive cross-functional integration between SAP FI/CO and key modules/functions, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Warehouse Management (WM), and Business Intelligence (BI).


• Review and troubleshoot IDocs, analyze ABAP code snippets for debugging, and work closely with technical teams to optimize solution interfaces.


• Author comprehensive Work Instructions, Interface Specifications, and Error-Handling Procedures for operational support.


• Identify opportunities for continuous business process improvement and system optimizations within S/4HANA environments.

Qualifications & ExperienceIT & Relevant SAP Experience

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO implementation, enhancement, and support.


• Strong exposure to S/4HANA migration, implementation, and support methodologies.


• Deep cross-functional knowledge across core enterprise financial processes.

Domain Experience

• 1–2 years of foundational domain experience in any of the following areas:
  
  
  
  
  • Financial bookkeeping and general accounting.
  
  
  • Auditing or preparation of corporate financial statements.
  
  
  • Internal control processes and managerial financial reporting.
  
  
  • Inward and outward invoice processing and tax documentation.
  
  
  
  

Educational Background

• Preferred Certifications: CA / ICWA / CS


• Postgraduate Degree: MBA (Finance & Accounting) or M.Com from a recognized institution.


• Bachelor’s Degree: B.Com / BBA / BBM from a reputable university.
