SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities

· Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements.

· Handle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO) processes.

· Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and translate requirements into SAP solutions.

· Configure and maintain SAP FICO organizational structures, master data, and financial processes.

· Work on integration between SAP FICO and MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules.

· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.

· Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

· Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, and support projects.

· Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for developments.

· Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

· Prepare user documentation and provide knowledge transfer/training to business users.

· Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.

Required Skills

· 5+ years of relevant SAP FICO experience.

· Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP FI and CO.

· Expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting and Cost/Profit Center Accounting.

· Good understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.

· Experience with SAP integration with MM and SD.

· Strong experience in configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

· Experience working with business users and handling requirement discussions independently.

· Good knowledge of SAP implementation/support methodologies.

· Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

· Knowledge of Universal Journal / ACDOCA.

· Experience with SAP migration or S/4HANA transformation projects.

· SAP FICO certification will be an added advantage.

· Experience in global implementations or multi-country projects

.Deliverables / Expectations

The selected consultant will be expected to independently handle SAP FICO functional activities, support business requirements, resolve production issues, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to successful project delivery.
