Sap Hana

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA BI Consultant to lead the design, development, and optimization of SAP HANA-based reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Enterprise HANA, HANA Calculation Views, SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI), and Business Intelligence reporting solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business, functional, integration, and reporting teams to deliver scalable, high-performance analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP HANA BI requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  


• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain SAP Enterprise HANA Calculation Views to support reporting, analytics, and downstream data consumption.
  


• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient HANA data models.
  


• Develop and enhance SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports to support business reporting and validation activities.
  


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HANA data models, data flows, reports, and system integrations.
  


• Collaborate with functional, integration, and reporting teams to validate source-to-target mappings and ensure data accuracy.
  


• Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and deployment validation across multiple environments.
  


• Optimize HANA models, calculations, and queries to improve system performance and reporting efficiency.
  


• Follow SAP HANA development standards for documentation, transport management, security, and change management.
  


• Provide production support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and ongoing system enhancements.
  


• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices across BI solutions.
  


• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, deployment guides, and support runbooks.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  


• 8+ years of experience in SAP HANA BI and Analytics implementations.
  


• Strong expertise in SAP Enterprise HANA modeling and development.
  


• Hands-on experience designing and developing HANA Calculation Views.
  


• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) report development.
  


• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, reporting, and analytics solutions.
  


• Experience working with source-to-target mapping validation and data reconciliation.
  


• Knowledge of SAP transport management and deployment processes.
  


• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization skills.
  


• Experience supporting production environments and incident management.
  


• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
