Position : SAP MM + aATP Functional Consultant (S/4HANA)
Experience : 8+ Years (Total SAP Functional Experience)
Reporting To : Functional Lead / Delivery Manager

1. ROLE SUMMARY
-------------------------------------------------------------
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong
expertise in Materials Management (MM) combined with hands-on
capability in Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) on SAP S/4HANA.
The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, fit-gap
analysis, solution design, configuration, testing and support of MM
and aATP processes. The role requires deep understanding of
procurement and inventory processes along with the ability to design
and configure availability check, backorder processing and supply
assignment scenarios in S/4HANA.

2. MANDATORY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-------------------------------------------------------------
* Minimum 8+ years of total SAP functional experience in MM.
* Minimum ONE end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Implementation project
(Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy and Go-Live phases).
* Minimum ONE SAP S/4HANA Support / AMS project (incident handling,
problem management, change requests and enhancements).
* Hands-on configuration experience in Advanced ATP (aATP) on
S/4HANA - mandatory.
* Clear understanding of the differences between:
- Classic ATP (ECC availability check)
- Global ATP (gATP on SCM/APO)
- Advanced ATP (aATP embedded in S/4HANA)
* Experience working with SAP Activate / ASAP methodology.
* Experience in onsite-offshore delivery model and direct client
interaction.

- Release Strategies (with and without classification)
- Approval workflows and flexible workflow in S/4HANA
* Special Procurement Scenarios:
- Subcontracting, Consignment, Pipeline, Third-Party
- Stock Transport Orders (Intra/Inter-company STO)
- Returns to vendor, Return PO and Return STO
- Service Procurement (Lean Services / Service Entry Sheet)
* Inventory Management:
- Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Transfer Postings, Movement Types
- Reservations, Stock types (unrestricted, quality, blocked)
- Physical Inventory (cycle counting, annual inventory)
- Special stocks and stock determination
* Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV):
- Invoice posting, GR/IR clearing, price variances, tolerances
- Blocking/releasing invoices, ERS, credit memos, subsequent
debits/credits
* Valuation and Account Determination:
- Material valuation, price control (S/V), Moving Average Price
- Split Valuation, valuation classes, OBYC configuration
- Understanding of Material Ledger in S/4HANA
* Pricing:
- Purchasing condition technique, condition tables, access
sequences, schema determination, taxes and delivery costs
* MRP:
- MRP Live (MD01N), MRP types, lot sizing, planning strategies
- Planning file entries, reorder point planning, forecast-based
planning
- Understanding of MRP Areas and demand/supply elements
* Output Management:
- S/4HANA output management using BRF+ / Adobe Forms
- Legacy NAST/message determination understanding
* Reporting and Analytics:
- Standard MM reports, Fiori analytical apps, embedded
analytics and CDS-based reporting

5. INTEGRATION KNOWLEDGE (MANDATORY / PREFERRED)

* MM - FI/CO integration: account determination, GR/IR, cost
centers, internal orders, WBS, Material Ledger.
* MM - SD integration: intercompany billing, STO with delivery,
third-party sales, availability check impact on sales orders.
* MM - PP integration: BOM, production orders, backflush,
subcontracting components, MRP demand/supply linkage.
* MM - QM integration: quality inspection at GR, usage decision,
quality stock and its ATP relevance.
* MM - WM / EWM integration: delivery distribution, storage
location control, goods movement posting from EWM.
* aATP - SD/PP/MM integration: confirmation flow to sales orders,
deliveries, production and procurement elements.
* Integration with SAP IBP, S/4HANA Supply Chain and external
planning systems - good to have.
* Understanding of Ariba / SRM / Fieldglass integration touchpoints

6. TECHNICAL AWARENESS (PREFERRED)

* Ability to write clear functional specifications for RICEFW
objects and coordinate with ABAP developers.
* Debugging capability (basic ABAP debugging, ST22, SU53, SLG1).
* Understanding of BAdIs, User Exits and Enhancement Spots relevant
to MM and aATP.
* Knowledge of CDS views, Fiori apps, embedded analytics and KPI
tiles.
* IDoc knowledge - ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC, MBGMCR and
error handling (WE02, WE19, BD87).
* Data migration tools - LSMW, LTMC / LTMOM, Migration Cockpit,
BAPI / BDC based loads.
* Awareness of S/4HANA Simplification List items relevant to MM
(Business Partner, MATDOC, removal of MB* transactions,
Material Number field length extension).
* Test management tools - Tricentis, HP ALM, Solution Manager Test
Suite.
* Ticketing / ALM tools - ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, Azure DevOps.

7. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct requirement gathering workshops, As-Is / To-Be analysis
and fit-gap assessment for MM and aATP processes.
* Design and configure MM and aATP solutions aligned to business
requirements and SAP best practices.
* Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements
and interfaces; coordinate with technical team through build.
* Configure and test Product Availability Check, Backorder
Processing, Alternative-Based Confirmation, Release for Delivery,
Supply Assignment, Product Allocation and Supply Protection.
* Prepare and execute unit test scripts, support SIT, UAT and
regression testing; track and resolve defects.
* Prepare BPML, configuration documents, test scripts, cutover plans
and end-user training material.
* Support data migration activities including master data validation
and reconciliation.
* Provide go-live and hypercare support; handle production incidents
within agreed SLAs with proper root cause analysis.
* Analyze and resolve ATP confirmation discrepancies, BOP result
issues and allocation shortfalls.
* Drive process improvements, automation opportunities and adoption
of standard S/4HANA and Fiori capabilities.
* Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer to support teams.
* Mentor junior consultants and review their deliverables.

8. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain,
Operations, Commerce, Information Technology or related field.
* MBA in Operations / Supply Chain - preferred.
* SAP Certification in MM / S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement -
preferred.
* Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM / CSCP - added
advantage.
