SAP MRP Executive

Job Location : Pirangut, Pune

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SAP MRP Executive to manage material planning and inventory optimization for our robotics manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for executing Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring material availability for production, coordinating with procurement and manufacturing teams, and maintaining accurate master data in SAP.

Key Responsibilities

Material Planning
Execute MRP runs in SAP and analyse planning proposals.
Generate & review purchase requisitions, planned orders, and exception messages.
Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production schedules.
Monitor shortages and expedite critical materials.
Balance inventory levels while minimizing excess stock.
SAP Master Data Management
Maintain accurate Material Master and MRP parameters.
Update: Lead Times, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Lot Sizing, Procurement Type, Planning Strategy, Support BOM and Routing validation where required.
Production Planning Support
Coordinate with Production Planning for changing schedules.
Ensure timely release of purchase requisitions.
Monitor material readiness before production starts.
Support Engineering Change implementation.

Procurement Coordination
Work closely with Procurement teams on supplier commitments.
Follow up on delayed materials.
Review supplier delivery performance.
Assist in alternate sourcing during shortages.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular reports on:
MRP exceptions
Purchase requisition status
Supplier delivery performance
Production material readiness
Continuous Improvement
Improve planning parameters.
Participate in SAP process improvement projects.
Drive standardization of planning processes.

Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess:
3–4 years of experience in material planning including 1-2 years in SAP.
Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proven track record in generation of various reports for SAP MRP and maintaining the accuracy of master data.
