Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

You will be part of a fast growing SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) Centre of Excellence, specializing in digital transformation and financial performance management across multiple industries. Our team partners with global clients to modernize legacy finance, profitability, and performance management landscapes using SAP PaPM, SAP HANA, and next generation analytics platforms.

As a Senior SAP PaPM Consultant, you will lead the end to end design, development, and optimization of SAP PaPM solutions across On Premise, Universal Model, and Standard Model implementations. This role requires strong hands on expertise in SAP HANA SQL Script, debugging HANA procedures, and delivering high performance profitability and performance management solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex SAP PaPM solutions using:
  
  
  
  • SAP PaPM On Premise
  
  
  • SAP PaPM Standard Model
  
  
  • SAP PaPM Universal Model
  
  
  
  


• Develop and maintain SAP PaPM artifacts, including:
  
  
  
  • Functions
  
  
  • Processes
  
  
  • Reports and calculation outputs
  
  
  
  


• Own and deliver high quality end to end lifecycle delivery:
  
  
  
  • Requirements → Design → Build → Test → Deploy → Support
  
  
  
  


• Work closely with Finance, Risk, Data, HANA, and Basis teams


• Translate business, finance, and regulatory requirements into scalable PaPM technical designs


• Mentor junior consultants and perform technical and design reviews


• Perform advanced HANA performance tuning using diagnostic tools such as:
  
  
  
  • PlanViz
  
  
  • SQL Analyzer
  
  
  
  


• Support pre sales activities, including:
  
  
  
  • Solution demos
  
  
  • RFP responses
  
  
  • Client presentations and business development initiatives
  
  
  
  

Skills and attributes for success

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in SAP PaPM, with at least 2–3 end to end implementation projects


• Strong hands on expertise in:
  
  
  
  • SAP PaPM modelling and execution framework
  
  
  • SAP HANA SQL, SQL Script, stored procedures, and debugging
  
  
  
  


• Strong understanding of:
  
  
  
  • Cost and revenue allocation methodologies
  
  
  • Profitability analysis
  
  
  • Driver based costing
  
  
  • Financial performance management concepts
  
  
  
  


• Technical or functional implementation exposure to secondary skill areas such as:
  
  
  
  • SAP Native HANA
  
  
  • SAP Datasphere
  
  
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  
  
  • SAP Finance and Controlling (ECC / S/4HANA)

Ideally, you’ll also 

What we look for

• Experience with data integration across SAP and non SAP data sources


• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills


• Experience working in consulting or global delivery models.


• SAP Certification in PAPM, HANA, SAC or S/4 HANA Finance.
