SAP S/4HANA BTP Technical Engineer

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) implementation, Application Management Services (AMS), or production support.
  


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  


• Experience supporting global SAP S/4HANA environments and cloud-based SAP BTP solutions.
  


• Provide technical support for SAP BTP services in a post-go-live AMS environment.
  


• Support global SAP S/4HANA deployments by maintaining SAP BTP solutions aligned with global templates and local business requirements.
  


• Develop, administer, and support SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, Extension Suite, SAP Build Process Automation, and cloud-native applications.
  


• Manage incidents, service requests, defect resolution, root cause analysis, and system enhancements while ensuring SLA compliance.
  


• Monitor SAP BTP platform health, integrations, cloud applications, destinations, connectivity, interfaces, and security configurations.
  


• Support integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, IBP, BW, and third-party applications.
  


• Manage SAP BTP transport management, deployments, release management, and CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
  


• Support SAP BTP security, including Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), role collections, destinations, authorizations, and connectivity.
  


• Collaborate with ERP, middleware, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
  


• Support modernization initiatives by replacing legacy integrations with SAP BTP-based integration and extension solutions.
  


• Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  


• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), including: SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, Extension Suite, SAP Build Process Automation
  


• Expertise in: CPI iFlows, Groovy Scripting, API development and management, Destinations and Connectivity, Role Collections, SAP BTP Security, SAP BTP Subaccount Administration, Transport Management
  


• Strong understanding of SAP BTP integrations with: SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP IBP, SAP BW, Third-party applications
  


• Experience with AMS support, incident management, monitoring, problem management, technical troubleshooting, and production support.
  


• Good knowledge of: Cloud Foundry, SAP Cloud Transport Management Service (TMS), Release Management, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud application lifecycle management
  


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
  


• Experience with CAP (Node.js/Java), SAP Build Apps, SAPUI5/Fiori, Kyma Runtime, and ABAP.
  


• Experience implementing DevOps practices and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  


• SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Extension Suite Certification.
  


• Familiarity with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes.
  


• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, global rollouts, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.
