SAP S/4HANA Finance & Treasury Functional Engineer

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) implementation, Application Management Services (AMS), or production support.
  


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  


• Experience supporting global SAP S/4HANA Finance environments and collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  


• Provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA Finance & Treasury solutions in a post-go-live AMS environment.
  


• Support global SAP S/4HANA deployments by maintaining Finance and Treasury solutions aligned with the global template and local business requirements.
  


• Manage incidents, service requests, defect resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis while ensuring SLA compliance.
  


• Perform impact analysis, functional testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and production changes.
  


• Support day-to-day Finance and Treasury operations by monitoring system performance and resolving production issues.
  


• Ensure successful execution of critical finance activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  


• Provide functional guidance, end-user support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business users and key stakeholders.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated business processes across Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehousing, and Reporting.
  


• Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders (IO), Profitability Analysis (COPA) / Margin Analysis, Product Costing, Project Systems (PS)
  


• Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of Treasury processes, including: Cash Management, Bank Accounting, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), Payment Processing, Liquidity Management
  


• Experience supporting finance operations, including period-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  


• Strong understanding of SAP Finance integration with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehousing, and Reporting modules.
  


• Experience with AMS support, incident management, problem management, change management, testing, and production support.
  


• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in global, cross-functional environments.
  


• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) Certification or Treasury-related SAP certification.
  


• Experience supporting global SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and hypercare activities.
  


• Familiarity with ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management processes.
  


• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving complex cross-functional Finance and Treasury issues.
  


• Knowledge of SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) is an added advantage.
