SAP S/4HANA PP/PPDS Functional Engineer

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) implementation, Application Management Services (AMS), or production support.
  


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  


• Experience supporting global SAP S/4HANA environments and collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  


• Provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and embedded PP/DS processes in a post-go-live AMS environment.
  


• Support Business Process Owners, key users, and business users by resolving incidents, service requests, and production planning issues.
  


• Manage production planning processes, including Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Planning Master Data.
  


• Support embedded PP/DS functionality and continuously enhance PP/DS expertise through project participation and production support activities.
  


• Perform incident analysis, business impact assessment, root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with technical teams and external partners.
  


• Conduct impact analysis, functional testing, regression testing, and validation for system enhancements and change requests.
  


• Support SAP S/4HANA deployments, rollouts, and hypercare activities to ensure smooth business adoption and operational continuity.
  


• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and support records while contributing to continuous process improvements.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Materials Management, Quality Management, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain domains.
  


• Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP), including: Demand Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Production Master Data
  


• Hands-on experience or practical exposure to SAP Embedded PP/DS, with the ability to support: Time-based and detailed production scheduling, Planning heuristics, Production versions, Resources, Planning alerts, Product Data Structure (PDS)
  


• Experience working in Application Management Services (AMS) or production support environments.
  


• Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  


• Experience using support and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
  


• Strong understanding of SAP PP integration with: SAP MM, SAP QM, Warehousing (WM/EWM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Supply Chain processes
  


• Experience performing functional testing, regression testing, defect validation, and production support.
  


• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional support environment.
  


• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Embedded PP/DS, including detailed scheduling, planning heuristics, alerts, production versions, resources, and PDS integration.
  


• Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), MES, or shop floor integration.
  


• Knowledge of Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
  


• Exposure to SAP PM and SAP QM modules.
  


• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, global rollouts, and hypercare activities.
  


• SAP Certification in SAP PP, PP/DS, or related Supply Chain modules.
  


• Experience working with global templates, standardized business processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
