Job Description - SAP Sales Manager

Job Description
  • The purpose of this role is to define a vision and create a winning strategy that draws upon the strengths of Company's SAP services and respond to midsize market needs.
  • To build and manage an adequate pipeline of opportunities and demand generations for sustainable growth; and identify sales opportunities within the SAP installed base customers & new customers and bring them to closure.
  • Carry out market research, evaluate competitors and suggest a strategic territory business plan. - Liaise and attend meetings necessary to build a brand by attending seminars, analyst forums that aid business development. - Pipeline generation and execution Drive SAP services sales.
  • To develop relations specifically within the SAP market in the region and work closely with SAP teams. The BDM is responsible for dynamic market screening, thought leadership, demand creation, opportunity identification, development, and selection of opportunities that support the business development campaign strategy. 
  • SAP BDM must be able to demonstrate deep understanding of the SAP marketplace and its future as well as client's business, organization, culture, pain points, and compelling reasons to act on new directions.
  • The SAP BDM should be able to create, articulate, and sell an innovative business vision and value proposition based upon the thought leadership developed as part of the campaign.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • At least 3+ years experience in Business development, consulting, and delivery of SAP solutions.
  • SAP Sales Manager / Senior Business Development Manager required with 5 years + IT Sales experience.
  • Solution selling and exposure to large SAP deals will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work very closely with delivery and sales support team in India is a pre-requisite.
