SAP SuccessFactors Time Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP SuccessFactors Time Consultant with 5+ years of implementation and configuration experience. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of SuccessFactors Time Management solutions (Time Off and Time Tracking).

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in configuring complex time profiles, leave rules, valuation rules, and seamlessly integrating Time Management with Employee Central (EC), Payroll (ECP / On-Premise HCM), and third-party time capture devices.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Configuration

• SuccessFactors Time Management: Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of Time Off (Accrual Rules, Absence Types, Time Accounts, Period-End Processing) and Time Tracking (Clock In/Out Group, Time Sheet Types, Time Valuation Rules, Breaks, Overtime Premiums).
  

• Business Rules & Workflows: Build and maintain complex Business Rules (MDF rules) to support custom leave structures, accrual policies, country-specific statutory requirements, and approval workflows.
  

• Integration: Configure and support point-to-point (P2P) integrations between SuccessFactors Time, Employee Central, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), SAP On-Premise HCM Payroll, and external time/attendance hardware systems.
  

Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery

• Requirements Gathering: Conduct blueprint workshops with HR/Payroll stakeholders, analyze global and local business requirements, and draft Functional Design Specifications (FDS).
  

• Compliance & Localization: Ensure time tracking and leave management setups comply with relevant local labor laws, union rules, and corporate governance standards across target regions.
  

• Testing & Rollout: Lead Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Data Migration (time accounts/balances), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for complex operational issues, bi-annual SuccessFactors release updates, and feature adoption.
  

• Conduct end-user training and author system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of functional experience implementing and supporting SAP SuccessFactors modules, with a primary focus on Time Off and Time Tracking / Time Sheet.
  

• Core Technical Skills:
  

  1. Deep expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and MDF (Metadata Framework).
     

  2. Advanced knowledge of Time Off Configuration (Accruals, Balances, Adjustments, Holiday Calendars, Work Schedules).
     

  3. Solid grasp of Time Tracking features (Time Valuation, Allowance Types, Clock In/Out Service).
     

  4. Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Business Rules Engine.
     

• Integration & Payroll Knowledge:
  

  1. Understanding of how time data feeds into Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or SAP HCM Payroll (Infotypes 2001, 2002, 2010, etc.).
     

• Certifications (Highly Preferred):
  

  1. SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core
     

  2. SAP Certified Application Associate / Specialist – SAP SuccessFactors Time Management / Time Tracking
