Job Description - Satellite Business Manager

Description

Astrome Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Development Manager to join our team. As a business developer, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our company. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, writing proposals and developing strategies to expand our customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate revenue and drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and strategic partners
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and trends
  • Develop marketing collateral for customers
  • Prepare responses to tenders, request for proposals and other customer queries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, and operations, to ensure successful customer on-boarding and satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market feedback


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
  • Have an understanding of Space domains
  • Be able to understand the technical features of satellite communication products
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving sales targets
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications or technology industry is a plus
  • MBA degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
