Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled DA-SDET Consultant with a strong background in financial analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of software development and testing expertise, along with a deep understanding of financial systems and analytics. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for financial applications.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development and testing.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on testing methodologies and financial analysis.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a focus on financial applications.
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in software testing and financial analysis.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or financial analysis (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
