Job Description: PLM SDET (Strong Automation Expert with PLM Domain Knowledge)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PLM SDET with strong expertise in test automation and deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions while ensuring the quality and reliability of PLM applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and test scripts.
Plan and implement comprehensive test strategies for PLM-based applications.
Identify, track, and validate software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with development, business, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Ensure compliance with software testing best practices and SDLC processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Minimum 8+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
Hands-on experience in the PLM domain, including:

Change Management
Configuration Management
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management
Other PLM processes and workflows

Strong experience as an SDET with expertise in:

Test Automation
Test Planning
Test Execution

Strong programming skills in:

Python
C#

Experience with:

Automation frameworks
CI/CD tools and practices

Solid understanding of:

Software Testing Methodologies
Test Design Techniques
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working on enterprise PLM platforms.
Experience implementing scalable automation frameworks.
Hyderabad-based candidates are preferred.
