Bold is seeking for QA’s to work with Product Managers and Dev Teams to understand features and technical implementation, and ensure our sites, products, and platforms perform to industry-beating quality levels.  

The person is expected to be result oriented, good interpersonal skills, and should be able to work both independently and in a team environment. It is expected that the person must strive to raise the bar of QA practices and establish high quality test standards. 

ABOUT THIS TEAM

BOLD Platform services team design, creates, manage and maintains the highly scalable and distributed services for the wider use of web and mobile product applications/portals/websites. The current list of services is based on Microservices architecture whose domain ranges from visitor tracking, User profiles, authentication, content and payments.

Platform team uses state of the art modern technologies like .Net framework, Python, Java, SQL Server, My SQL, Graph DB, SOLR, and a lot of other tools & technologies serving millions of users with hundreds of million transactions everyday through a scalable and fault tolerant architecture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Think like an end user and a hacker — identify areas where the system can break and ensure resilience through creative testing. 


• Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests 


• Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance 


• Collaborate with development, release, and DevOps teams for deployments, build validation, and configuration updates. 


• Contribute and own high-quality test automation 


• Communicate test progress, risks, and insights clearly with the team and stakeholders. 


• Reduces the time of QA tasks considerably by automating most of the tasks 


• Continuously learn new tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities to enhance testing efficiency and expedite script writing, refactoring, and automation review. 

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• 2+ years coding experience in one or more languages Core Java, C#.NET, Python 


• 2+ years test automation experience, developing/enhancing test harness/framework  


• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools 


• API Automation testing using Karate or Rest Assured or Cucumber, or any other tools. 


• Experience with UI Automation tools like Playwright, Selenium 


• Experience with web service technology like REST, SOAP 


• Experience with various testing strategies including regression, functional, acceptance, smoke, integration, black box, ad hoc, stress, and load. 


• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or other 


• Experience with SCM tools like GitHub, Bitbucket 


• Experience with AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or any other similar tool 

EXPERIENCE:  

• SDET- 2.5 years+


• SDET-II- 4.5 years+
