Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) – Selenium

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
• Write efficient and reusable automated test scripts for web applications.
• Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual regression efforts.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and QA strategy discussions.
• Maintain automation reports and provide test metrics.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java / Python / C#.
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit / PyTest frameworks.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns (Page Object Model preferred).
• Experience with API testing (REST, Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience testing microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
