We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SDR Manager to lead and scale our Sales Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and managing high-performing teams, driving outbound sales strategies, and accelerating revenue growth in a SaaS-driven environment. With 3–5 years of experience in sales and business development, the SDR Manager will play a critical role in shaping our lead generation engine, nurturing talent, and ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds pipeline targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Building & Leadership
    • Recruit, onboard, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to build a strong talent pipeline.
    • Foster a collaborative, motivating, and growth-oriented culture where SDRs thrive and deliver consistently.
    • Implement regular coaching sessions, role plays, and performance reviews to improve team capabilities and sales acumen.
  • Team Management
    • Define clear performance metrics (KPIs) for the SDR team around lead generation, outreach volume, and conversion rates.
    • Provide real-time feedback and data-driven insights to SDRs to improve call effectiveness, email outreach, and overall productivity.
    • Ensure alignment between the SDR team, Account Executives, and Marketing to maximize lead-to-opportunity conversion.
  • Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
    • Design, execute, and optimize outbound sales strategies to identify, qualify, and engage target prospects.
    • Oversee the creation of effective call scripts, email sequences, and outreach cadences to boost prospect engagement.
    • Leverage sales automation tools and CRM platforms to streamline lead generation processes and ensure accurate reporting.
  • SaaS Sales & Pipeline Development
    • Drive outbound prospecting strategies specifically tailored for SaaS product offerings.
    • Ensure SDRs are effectively communicating value propositions, handling objections, and booking high-quality meetings for Account Executives.
    • Monitor the health of the sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads to support business growth targets.
  • Collaboration & Strategy
    • Partner with Marketing to refine target customer profiles, messaging, and campaigns to enhance lead generation efforts.
    • Work closely with Sales leadership to align SDR objectives with broader revenue goals and go-to-market strategies.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide recommendations for improving outreach effectiveness and pipeline quality.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or Outbound Sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong background in SaaS sales, B2B lead generation, and outbound sales methodologies.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing SDR or BDR teams.
  • Sales Skills: Deep understanding of outbound prospecting, objection handling, and value-based selling.
  • Tools Knowledge: Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), sales engagement tools, and lead generation platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data and performance metrics to drive improvements in team output and sales strategy.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
