SE Azure Data Services

Responsibilities:

Migrate on-premises MSBI solutions to Azure data warehouse platforms.

Design and implement data migration pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.

Develop comprehensive data migration plans, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of data with regulatory requirements throughout the migration process

Optimize data warehouse performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in Azure cloud environments.

Adhere to Azure data migration best practices and methodologies to ensure successful migration outcomes.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data migration, ETL processes, and data integration in Azure environments.

Create and maintain thorough documentation, including migration plans, data lineage, and technical specifications..

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and cloud computing to continually improve migration processes and strategies.  

Must-Have:

3-4 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or database administration, focusing on Microsoft data platforms (MSBI, SQL Server).

Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Blob Storage..

Proficiency in SQL programming and T-SQL scripting for data manipulation, transformation, and querying.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and ETL processes.

Experience with data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices for migrating on-premises data to Azure cloud environments.
