| Safety Compliance : Ensure all operational activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. | ||||
| Operational Control and day to day monitoring : Monitor austenitizing furnaces to achieve required temperature and soaking time.Control and supervise and trouble shoot quenching processes to ensure proper hardness and microstructure. Process setting for new product, grade development.Responsible for managing day to day production of heat treatment line for complete management of the heat treatment facility, including (Shot blasting machine, Austenitizing furnace and Quenching machine, bogie hearth furnaces, leveller, water complex).The role ensures production targets, quality standards, cost control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of heat treatment processes. | ||||
| Procurement (Purchase requisitions and service requisitions) Exposure to SAP PP & MM module for raising purchase requisions of operational spares and consumables for HTC line, shutdown planning and execution. | ||||
| Coordination Timely coordination with production planning and control ,operations and quality team, maintenance team, logistics team for timely FG of processed plates and production optimization. | ||||
| End-to-End Heat treatment Line Management Oversee full operation of heat treatment line austenitizing furnaces, quenching machine, and auxiliary systems. Ensure achievement of daily/monthly production targets. Plan and control batch scheduling based on production requirements. Analyze data from the HTC process to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for further improvement. | ||||
| Team Leadership & Shift Management Manage supervisors, operators, and technicians across shifts.Ensure manpower planning, discipline, and productivity.Conduct training on SOPs, safety, and quality standards.Review shift reports and ensure proper handovers. | ||||
| Documentation & Compliance To Maintain:Heat treatment records ,calibration logs ,Batch traceability ,Ensure audit readiness (internal & external audits).Prepare reports and presentations on status, performance, and outcomes for senior leadership. |
