Security Administration

The Enterprise applications supported and administered by this role are complex applications, typically running on a UNIX/Linux platform. These applications require an understanding of the underlying UNIX/Linux operating system, and all application server technologies. Due to the secure nature of these systems and the data that resides on them, the team must always act with diligence and care when accessing the system and making changes. 

Accountable for:

· Working with appropriate constituents to managing core and supporting Security applications, including installation of software releases, parameter changes, testing activities, monitoring overall health, and performance tuning. Ensure that system incidents and user issues are responded to and resolved in a timely manner, and in accordance with documented processes.

· Apply problem solving expertise to resolve complex problems and identify root cause.

· Provide excellent customer service and foster strong relationships with peers, customers, and vendors built on mutual trust and respect. Work with various teams across IT to ensure continuity of service. 

· Actively participate in cross-functional projects to build and implement new security solutions and infrastructure.

Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.

Requirements:

· This role requires a minimum of a college or university degree.

· CISSP certification preferred.

· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an IT organization, with a focus on system administration, application administration, and information security.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SAP Security and Oracle Identity Manager.

· Very strong knowledge of fundamental security concepts such as firewalls, IDS, vulnerability assessments, SSL encryption, network topologies, among others

· Very strong understanding of incident management and change management procedures

· Strong ability to prioritize and make independent decisions when issues arise

· Demonstrated technical skill and expertise with supported applications and systems.

· Ability to work well on project teams and with architecture teams.

· Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast-paced and demanding.

Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.

Ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy. Work well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
