Job Summary

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing security operations at the warehouse and plant premises, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, assets, and materials. The role involves managing security personnel, monitoring access control, conducting investigations, maintaining security records, and ensuring compliance with company security policies and procedures.

• Supervise and manage security guards deployed at warehouse premises.
  
• Ensure proper access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
  
• Monitor entry and exit of materials through Gate Pass, RGP, and NRGP procedures.
  
• Conduct regular warehouse, yard, and perimeter patrols.
  
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
  
• Investigate security incidents, thefts, damages, and policy violations.
  
• Prepare and maintain daily security reports, incident reports, and shift handover records.
  
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and SOPs.
  
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams regarding movement of goods.
  
• Verify vehicle documentation and material movement records.
  
• Conduct surprise checks and security audits.
  
• Handle emergency situations such as fire, accidents, unauthorized entry, or security breaches.
  
• Train and guide security guards on security procedures and emergency response.
  
• Maintain discipline and deployment schedules of security staff.
  
• Coordinate with local authorities, police, and emergency services when required.
  
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
