Senior 3D Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior 3D Generalist to join our art team and take ownership of 3D content creation across multiple game projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the entire 3D pipeline—modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering—along with leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of artists. The ideal candidate will have experience in mobile or PC game development and a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the 3D art team to deliver high-quality assets and animations.

• Oversee the full 3D pipeline including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and basic rigging/animation.

• Collaborate with game designers, developers, and technical artists to ensure art assets meet functional and artistic expectations.

• Maintain consistent visual quality and style across all 3D assets and environments.

• Review, critique, and provide feedback on asset creation to ensure best practices and optimization.

• Help define workflows and processes to improve production efficiency.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in 3D art for games, animation, or interactive media.

• Proven experience leading or mentoring a 3D art team.

• Strong proficiency in Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience working with unity game engine.

• Solid understanding of asset optimization for mobile or real-time rendering.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of 3D art capabilities, including environments, characters, and props.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with animation and rigging workflows.

• Knowledge of VFX and shaders.

• Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Jira, or Asana.
