Senior Accountant

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant handles accounting services at a corporate level . He is responsible for the maintenance and close-out of the general ledger, fixed assets, receivables, payables and payroll accounts at a corporate level. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.


• Prepare and maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.


• Process accounts payable and vendor payments.


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


• Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances.


• Assist in tax audits and statutory audits.


• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.


• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Overall Experience Required to Execute this Role

• 6+ years of experience in an accounting function

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting


• Master’s Degree in Finance is an advantage

Core Competencies

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Financial Reporting.


• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and SAP.


• Experience in account reconciliations, auditing, and statutory compliance.


• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
