Job Title: Senior Accounts Associate

Job Overview

A reputed textile company in Surat is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in handling end-to-end accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates from the textile trading or manufacturing industry who are well-versed in GST filings, account finalization, and financial reporting using ERP-based accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries including purchase, sales, expenses, and journal entries.
  




• Prepare and file GST returns, manage TDS compliance, and ensure timely tax documentation.
  




• Conduct bank reconciliations, manage petty cash, and monitor cash flows.
  




• Support in finalization of accounts and monthly/annual closures.
  




• Maintain ledgers, perform reconciliation with vendors and customers.
  




• Assist during internal and external audits and ensure audit-ready records.
  




• Coordinate with internal departments for timely documentation and reporting.
  




• Generate MIS reports and maintain proper financial documentation.
  

Requirements

• Experience: Around 3 or 3+ years of experience in accounting.
  




• Proficient in ERP-based accounting software like Tripta/Tally etc.
  




• Strong understanding of GST regulations, TDS filing, and compliance management.
  




• Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end accounting tasks.
  




• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
