Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Model and champion Agile values, principles, and digital delivery practices.
  • Enable outcome-based strategy evolution through experimentation, feedback loops, and continuous learning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, Business, and shared services (Risk, Release Management, Customer Experience, Accessibility, Analytics, Marketing, etc.) to drive a customer-centric delivery approach.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to develop and maintain a multi-year rolling roadmap aligned to defined OKRs and strategic initiatives.
  • Promote Agile practices across roadmap planning, prioritization, quarterly planning, and sprint execution.
  • Manage cross-portfolio dependencies, risks, and impacts to ensure timely and predictable feature delivery.
  • Facilitate alignment across teams and leaders to proactively remove impediments and resolve conflicts.
  • Communicate outcomes, risks, and progress to stakeholders using agile and delivery metrics.
  • Coach and influence teams, leaders, and partners to adopt Agile ways of working and mindset.
  • Drive data discipline and adoption of collaboration and planning tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Mural, etc.).
  • Lead retrospectives and leverage delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement across teams.
  • Ensure adherence to risk and release readiness standards, as well as audit compliance.
  • Build team capability and maturity through coaching, onboarding, and structured training.
  • Facilitate annual capex planning, track resource allocation, and help resolve skillset gaps as needed.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, transparency, psychological safety, and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 15+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Portfolio/Program Manager, Business Analyst or other similar role
  • Strong understanding of Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and Product Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC)
  • 8+ years of experience coaching and enabling multiple teams to achieve high performance and delivery outcomes
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, and other Lean-Agile methodologies)
  • 8+ years of experience driving Agile adoption and leading program-level retrospectives to improve end-to-end delivery
  • 8+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (e.g., Atlassian suite, Planview, Rally, VersionOne, etc.)
  • Proven ability to define, measure, and report on delivery metrics and team performance
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, geographically distributed portfolios
  • Experience working with vendor partners in onshore/offshore delivery models
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to influence and engage senior leaders through clear, compelling presentations
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and inspire teams in a fast-paced, high-energy setting
  • Continuous learner with a growth mindset and ability to drive innovation
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred
  • Experience managing and developing Agile practitioners (e.g., Agilists) within a matrixed organization
