Position Title: Senior Analyst – Financial Data Systems Data and Reporting

Role Overview :

The Senior Analyst – Financial Data Systems Data and Reporting is tasked with supporting data & reporting initiatives within the Financial Data Systems team. This position will execute the creation, maintenance and enhancement of enterprise financial reporting and reporting packages, validating data assets and validating the use of financial data in enterprise reporting solutions. This role may also support limited month end close processes and support the reconciliation of financial information across systems, where necessary. 

Accountabilities:

Top 5 Core Responsibilities / Outcomes Expected

Create, maintain and deliver enhancements to enterprise financial and management reporting. Coordinate with business process owners to understand reporting requirements and build models, reports, dashboards to support business requirements. 
Coordinate with UDP and data and reporting teams to reconcile and validate data assets that are used in financially relevant models for enterprise reporting. 
Reconcile and validate financial models and dashboards that are developed for enterprise reporting when the reporting includes financial relevant data. 
Reconcile and validate financial transactional information across various SAP ledgers to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial models
Support projects and initiatives that use financially relevant data or require reporting that uses financially relevant data.

High level of engagement with internal stakeholders (process owners, data & reporting teams in FDS, Finance and IS)

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of SAP S4 modules and related interdependencies, process understanding & improvement
Competent in Power BI,  Datasphere and/or Alteryx, Sequel is a plus
Understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
Analytical thinking & Problem Solving
Storytelling

Experience & Education

Experience: 3-5 years with background in financial accounting, reporting and business systems. 
Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business/Information Systems. 
Other Qualifications: CPA or MBA desired.
