Senior Analyst- Global Programs- Materials

This is a individual contributor role adept at supporting planning and execution of strategic, cross functional projects, developing new supply chain processes and horizontal deployment of best practices. The role will primarily focus on materials management but shall also encompass aspects of overall operations management for manufacturing. The individual should have good general understanding of Materials Management with deep understanding of supply planning & Inventory Management concepts. Person has to deal cross functionally with multiple functions including planning, sales, production, finance and leadership team. " "* Should have strong functional knowledge & working experience related to Materials management & detailed understanding of concepts related to P2P process, replenishment planning, MRP/ material planning & Inventory performance measures like ITR & DOH Should have supported global programs in the capacity of supply chain and materials functional expertise and required analysis. Also should have critical thinking and ability to bring order to unstructured problems Strong understanding of plant operations and manufacturing value stream in a discrete manufacturing environment Preferred hands on experience in plant/DC operations involving materials planning and inventory optimization Good understanding of quantitative supply chain including but not limited to concepts like cycle service levels, order fulfillment, on-time delivery, inventory turnover etc. Strong Working Knowledge ERP Systems preferably SAP/ Mfg Pro/ Oracle/ MAPICS is required. Work on developing Standard work in co-ordination with cross functional teams to deliver high quality, prompt material management Analytics/reporting services. Responsible for sharing with the team, best supply chain management practices, continuous improvement of process, development of process standards, compliance with Materials planning processes, and reporting in alignment with the regional and global supply chain organization Excellent communication & presentation skills to work with Global, regional & local materials management teams across the globe. Support various analytical requirements from materials management & Inventory Analytics perspective like development of replenishment methods (Min-max, ROP, Safety stock), past due reduction & Excess & obsolete inventory reduction and control. A team player with willingness to work across multiple cross-functional engagements and learning agility towards adoption of Digital tool and technologies. Comfortable in working across multiple geographies and global stakeholders" Should be Engineering Graduate + preferred MBA(Operations/Supply Chain) 6 to 8 years of relevant experience into Materials, Inventory Optimization & Inventory control. "* Proficient skills level in MS Office: Advanced Excel and Power Point presentations. Proficient and good hands on exposure on ERP (Preferred Oracle, SAP, Mfg. Pro), Knowledge of Kinaxis is an added advantage Preferred exposure into MS Access, SQL and PowerBI query building.
