This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analyst/Associate - OTC Confirmations Drafting based in India.


This role sits within a fast-growing structured products and OTC managed services environment, supporting global investment banking clients in the drafting, review, and confirmation of complex derivatives transactions. You will play a critical role in ensuring trade accuracy, mitigating documentation risk, and maintaining alignment between counterparties across highly structured financial products. The position involves close collaboration with trading, legal, and risk teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely execution of trade confirmations. You will also contribute to improving documentation standards, building templates, and driving process efficiency in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting. The environment is global, fast-paced, and detail-intensive, requiring strong technical understanding of OTC derivatives and structured equity products. Accountabilities:



  • Draft, review, and confirm OTC equity derivative transactions through paper-based and electronic confirmation processes

  • Ensure accurate interpretation of trade economics and confirmation language, identifying and resolving discrepancies or breaks

  • Collaborate with counterparties, trading desks, legal, and risk teams to clarify documentation issues and ensure timely resolution

  • Prepare ad-hoc trade confirmations based on client and internal stakeholder requests

  • Develop and maintain confirmation templates, ensuring appropriate approvals from sales, trading, and legal teams

  • Support risk mitigation efforts by ensuring accuracy and consistency in trade documentation

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and strategic projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and controls

  • Handle additional documentation and confirmation-related tasks as required by business demand


Requirements:



  • 2–3+ years of experience in OTC derivatives confirmations or structured products documentation

  • Strong knowledge of ISDA 2002 and 2006/2021 Equity and Swap Definitions

  • Hands-on experience with OTC equity structured products such as autocalls, swap strategies, option strategies, and variance swaps

  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management and derivative confirmation processes

  • Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with trading, legal, operations, and risk teams

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to resolve complex documentation issues

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven financial services environment

  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain and resolve technical trade issues

  • Ability to propose solutions and support improvements in documentation and operational processes
