About
the Role

As a Senior Architect at
Propel, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and
high -performance technology architectures that power enterprise and
cloud -native solutions. You will act as a strategic technical leader —
translating business requirements into robust system designs, guiding
engineering teams through execution, and ensuring architectural excellence
across projects.

This role combines deep
technical expertise with hands -on leadership, mentorship, and continuous
innovation.

Key
Responsibilities

·       Architecture Strategy & Delivery
Lead the design and implementation of scalable architectures using SOA,
microservices, event -driven, and distributed systems.

·       Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership
Architect and guide cloud adoption across Azure, AWS, or GCP using SaaS, PaaS,
and IaaS models while ensuring security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

·       Containerization & Scalability
Design and deploy cloud -native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

·       Data Engineering & Security
Design secure data pipelines using ETL, ELT, and CDC approaches. Implement
encryption standards (AES, DES, MD5, SHA1) and ensure regulatory compliance
such as HIPAA and GDPR where applicable.

·       Solution Ownership
Own end -to -end solution delivery from proof -of -concept to production
deployment.

·       DevOps & CI/CD Enablement
Establish best practices across version control systems (GitHub, GitLab,
Bitbucket), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines), and code quality
platforms (SonarQube, Veracode).

·       Cross -Functional Collaboration
Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering groups to
align technical strategy with business outcomes.

·       Technical Governance & Mentorship
Define architectural standards, mentor engineering teams, and drive a culture
of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

What
We’re Looking For

·       10+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and solution
delivery.

·       Strong experience designing distributed, scalable, and cloud -native
systems.

·       Deep expertise in system integration, API design, data modeling, and
performance optimization.

·       Proven track record of architecting large -scale enterprise platforms
end -to -end.

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
discipline.

·       Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate
technical concepts to business and IT stakeholders.

·       Willingness to remain hands -on with coding while mentoring and guiding
engineering teams.

Technical
Expertise

·       Languages & Frameworks

o    Core: .NET, Angular or React (full -stack mindset preferred)

o    Additional: Java, Python, Scala, Spring Boot, Flask

·       Databases & Distributed Systems

o    Core: SQL, PostgreSQL

o    Additional: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis

·       Cloud & Platform Engineering

o    Core: Microsoft Azure

o    Additional: AWS or GCP

o    Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub

·       DevOps & Automation

o    Hands -on experience building CI/CD pipelines

o    Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools

·       Streaming & Data Platforms

o    Kafka, Spark Streaming, Talend, Redis Pub/Sub

o    Exposure to ElasticSearch, Hadoop, Spark

·       Security & Identity

o    Experience with ADFS, Okta, Auth0

o    Strong understanding of data encryption and secure access models

·       Testing & Quality Engineering

o    Exposure to tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Gatling, Locust,
UiPath, Power Automate
