Senior Architect

 • Qualified Architect who supports the Architectural design development , CAD/BIM modeling and documentation of construction projects in a range of sectors including development of the project design, production of presentation drawings and sketches. The Architect also assists in solving design complexities, and responsible for leading specific aspects of the project and project team to assist in the overall effort of completing the various phases of the project. 
The Architect reports to the Project Lead, or other more senior team leaders.

Under direction of the Project Lead or a more senior project leader, develops, modifies, and reviews drawings ensuring the incorporation of design intent.

 •Duties may include the development and implementation of project design concepts, project BIM/CAD modelling, developing sketches, conducting research and data collection, preparing presentations and reports, and general production of design and construction documents.

 •Works on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques in ways that may explore new ways of achieving design solutions, completing tasks within established deadlines and budgets, and effectively utilizing self/ resources to address project requirements.

 •Interacts with lead country based clients, participates on project development, and presents ideas clearly and persuasively

 • Prepares, manages, and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details, as directed by leads in the project team, following standards and archiving documents as appropriate.

 •Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards. May assist in the development of project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.

 •Prepares 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings and renderings.

 •May assist Project Designers and Project Architects with concept design development process. 

Task and /or People Management:

 •Assist the lead Team and project Team during the design documentation / production  process and provide guidance and support where necessary.

 •Manage design tasks and deliverables and report on progress against the design programme to the project lead.

 •Report on the progress and risks associated with the programme.

 •Follow Organizational values and exhibit appropriate behaviours.

 •Manage time efficiently and assist / input into team meetings to review design programme.

 •Able to manage junior colleagues / trainee/ interns when needed.

Business & Financial: 

 •Support the Project Lead in developing the project execution plan and forecasting resource.

 •Input on the project programming and/or financial planning.
