Job Description:
The Senior Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales across the Specialized Pet Trade (SPT) channel, managing distribution networks, and building strong relationships with veterinarians, veterinary clinics, breeders, and pet retail outlets. This is a field-focused role requiring strong on-ground sales experience and expertise in channel development and distributor management.
Drive primary and secondary sales achievement across the assigned territory. Headquartered in Jaipur, the candidate will be responsible for managing Jaipur and surrounding markets like Sri Ganganagar, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota within the assigned territory.
Manage and grow the Specialized Pet Trade (SPT) channel, including Veterinarians, Veterinary Clinics, Breeders, and Pet Shops.
Handle and expand the distribution network, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers servicing the pet care ecosystem.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key veterinarians, clinics, breeders, and pet trade partners.
Ensure effective market coverage, product visibility, and availability across all assigned channels.
Monitor stock availability, order cycles, inventory movement, and replenishment planning.
Execute sales plans, promotional activities, and market development initiatives.
Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration within the pet care segment.
Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends; provide actionable market insights.
Maintain accurate sales reports and performance trackers using Microsoft Excel; prepare presentations when required.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA preferred.
Proven on-ground sales experience in FMCG, Pet Nutrition, Animal Health, Veterinary Products, or related categories.
Strong experience in handling primary and secondary sales.
Demonstrated experience in managing distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Well-versed with Jaipur geography and market dynamics.
Prior experience working with veterinarians, veterinary clinics, breeders, or pet trade channels will be preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory) and PowerPoint (preferred).
Ability to build and maintain strong channel partner relationships.
Strong execution focus and result-oriented mindset.
Good analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Candidate must be based in or previously worked in Jaipur (HQ).
Travel outside the city and across the assigned territory is required.
Willingness to work extensively in the field and engage directly with channel partners and customers.
